The ones where they have stuff in the bed are the cheekiest, therefore the best.

I live in Australia and I once pulled up to a local roundabout to find two Commodores doing just that.
The motorbike in the back seals it

The trouble with the United States is that there are not enough rear-wheel-drive automobiles on the road. This leads to greatly reduced hooning capability.
Australia does seem to have a thing for smoking tires...

There are quite a few, the Mustang-Camero-Challenger friends. You’re just making excuses!
A lot of good Commodores eat the wall in that video :(

Frankly, those are lane cars meant fit nothing other than accelerating.

I hope you’re not making the mistake of assuming Commodores are fit for more than that. They’re fat as.

The first two generations look like Opels. They probably are...
I think any of the Commodores on that Wiki page look like more of a car than any of the American pony cars. 300-700 horsepower, almost zero visibility out of any quarter and mediocre handling. Very fast cars, totally not my taste. I’d rather take an old Commodore and have a roots-type supercharger sticking up out of a hole in the hood than any new American pony car. And either way, I’d try to avoid spinning it into a wall.

Yeah, they are more of a car than the pony cars I guess. At heart they’re just family sedans, they are intended to be useful.
But that doesn’t help them perform well. Most of the fast ones kicking around are little more than a plain-jane sedan with a big V8,
V8 Supercars
relationship be damned.
