Bye bye jet bridge. The flight home is undersold. I get a bonus seat! The cabin door is about to close. Good night, Oppo.

That’s the best feeling.

On my last flight, every seat was booked. Literally the only no-show was between myself and the aisle seat of my row. That guy and I looked at each other and nodded in acknowledgement that we won the airplane.

I got on a late night flight to Brazil once and the plane was half full, I took a whole middle 5 seats on the 777 and lay down. But I like being upgraded to business class better, I had that on a flight to Japan once, oh baby now I feel like I’m in steerage in coach.

I’ve only been on ONE undersold flight in recent memory (last 5-6 years). This flight was the definition of undersold, it was a plane with 2-3-2 seating (a row in the middle), and I swear there were only 50 people on the plane.

It, after being up for 22 hours now, was an unimaginable luxury. It doesn't happen often these days.

I unfortunately have flown about 25k miles since June 1 and have had an empty seat next to me one time. Once!
