Just got a really fishy email from deadhook motorsports. It wanted me to open up a dropbox.com file for an “order”. I haven’t ordered anything from them in over a year. If you get a similar message, DON’T OPEN ANYTHING! Delete or send to spam and forget it.

It’s also entirely possible (and very easy) to spoof a ‘From’ address. So it’s possible that they weren’t hacked at all, but that somebody is using theirs as a phony From address, lifted off someone else’s stolen contact list.
Also likely that their site was hacked. Many, many sites never change default passwords, etc.

Read that as “Deadhooker” Motorsports. Man what a Google search result...
