Great banter. Thumbs up. Scoping times. This is autocross at its purest.

Bonus video of my wicked good cone placement. I may have brushed one, but it wasn’t a penalty. Pardon the noise on this one.

This is how we do it here in Texas:

The car thought it was 114F(45.5C), but it only got up to 104F (40C), since you are Canadian I feel obligated to include Centigrade values (I prefer Kelvin, but saying it was 313K seems like bragging). Turnout was average with 142 drivers, including a guy in a yellow Lamborghini Gallardo and another guy in an ‘05 NSX (they were 8 and 10s slower than my BRZ, respectively).

Thanks, we have an even bigger lot (Mineral Wells Air Park) where we host Pro Solos. It is truly gigantic (more than twice the size):

I’ve had a 110 second course here (that still used 3rd gear), and the BMW club on occasion uses the back side as a straight (it includes a measured quarter mile that is used for drag racing). I’ve been over 100mph during autocrosses there. It sounds like fun, but walking the courses usually takes 30min+.
