A list of things to do so I actually get them done.
Remove entire front suspension.
Remove exhaust.
Decouple driveshaft.
Remove harness and fuel.
Get motor onto a jack.
Flatten ground so the the jack will move when a motors on it.
Bonus-
cut off radiator support(so the motor can sqeeze through)
Cut holes for clutch master cylinder.

Before doing any of that, you might want to take that gas pump out of the bed.

The fuel pump is fairly simple in sc400's.

That’s a gen 1 Dakota, correct? Looks great with the gen 2 r/t wheels on there. And the stance is just right. Like the color too.
I have a 99 hotchkis drop r/t in intense blue, love that blue.

Other side, as you can see, the pics were more for the boys, not the truck. I really should get some better photos of it. It hadn't been detailed since I got married over 9 years ago. And it took the time off for the birth of my third son to get me an opportunity to give it some attention. The old girl still cleans up nice.

As long as you keep a good coat of wax on it, and keep it in the garage it won’t have the typical paint problems.

Thanks for the compliments. I try to keep it in good shape. I joke that I've had the truck longer than my wife. BTW, I don't recommend using that joke too often...
Sadly, with my current garage and vehicle situation, the R/T sits outside most of the time. I do cover it through the winter and sometimes in the other three seasons of its all cleaned up. I’ve been seriously toykng with dipping it in matte clear. I did a test on my S4 hood for a few months and liked the result and protection. But that’s a lot of real estate to cover with plastidip.
The hotchkis stuff is near impossible to get now. I kick myself that I didn’t do the sways back in the day, but the budget wouldn’t allow. Hell I couldn’t even replace the hotchkis tuned bilstiens this past spring so I had to go with different shocks. Not nearly as good, but she runs good and still hauls ass. 174k on the clock.
