I only 2 days ago discovered who this magnificent singer is..... holy fuck he is great. Not the best voice, but you feel him singing; it’s just so sincere. Few singers can do that.

Brittany Howard (Alabama Shakes) and Rachael Price (Lake Street Dive) are on the short list of modern singers that do that to me. Now I’m glad to add Gregory Porter

Oh I heard that on NPR, yeah the tiny desk videos on there are awesome. Some amazing people show up for that. The Wilco one is fun even though I haven’t been a fan, the singer is funny. I got stuck one afternoon going through them. I do listen to NPR when I go to work so I tend to catch most of them. Is he cold?
