According to some DKW marketing guys: half the strokes means double the explosions, making the two-stroke 3 ‘equal’ to a four-stroke 6. Which is a great slogan, though it is a bit of a weird name. But then again it used to be called Sonderklasse before this, which is also a bit of a weird name.
