Jack in the Box’s Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers used to be a buck two years ago. Now they’re like $1.75. BOO!

Damn inflation coming for us all. I’ll have to buy one of those after the next car sells.

My father had an 85 S10 blazer. Which is why one is on my radar. Maybe this fall it will be toy car time.

It’s always toy car time.

Except when you are neck deep in a 30 year old ski boat restoration.

I have a burning desire for a typhoon rolling on the C4 ZR-1 turbine wheels.

None too shabby good sir, do you have any close up shots?. Personally, I’d lose the intercooler scoop, unless you can shorten it. Looks too deep, more like a road debris grabber.

It’s stock, so I’m keeping it.

Nope, not stock. They didn’t come with an IC scoop, just a little rubber flap. Didn’t come stock with the sliding rear window either. thanks for the link, good job on the resto, looks clean.

Also, because I have to pic nits, it’s not a Vortec V6, just a first gen LB4 V6, unless someone did a motor swap to the newer 4.3, which is unlikely for the work involved. Yours might have Vortec heads though, as they are a direct swap, and flow better.

Oh that’s definitely just my error in writing the specs. Everything’s stock in the engine besides the cold air and some hoses.
I’m more surprised about the sliding rear window. Why would someone change that?

No worries, like I said just being picky. The guys on the syty forum like to pick apart CL ads, so I figured I’d give you a heads up.
As far as the rear window goes, there are a few possibilities. A few owners have swapped to the slider in the past, mostly because they hated the slightly gold tinted solid glass. More often than not, the glass was probably broken in the past, and its easier and cheaper to find standard cab S10/S15 glass (w/ slider) in a junk yard than the actual syclone piece.
There have been instances, and I am by no means saying this is the case with your truck, that a cab and VIN swap was done with a standard S10. Be it accident, stolen, or just general GM quality rust and deterioration. This isn’t a common occurrence, and there are usually big giveaways to this being the case.

Yeah, that seems like way more work than it’s worth. These things weren’t worth anything until the last couple years. I’d assume you’re right about the busted window. It didn’t have the greatest life before I got it back.
And Bring a Trailer already ripped it apart with their reserve offer, no worries. $12k/
