My !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! has had a week to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , so I took it in for an alignment today. The alignment shop I found had !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , but is a dodgy-looking shack behind some car dealers. This 440 ’Cuda greeted me when I arrived to retrieve my car. Guess I picked the right alignment shop!
Google Street View doesn’t quite fully capture its up-close dodgy-ness but the guy Jim who runs the place was a good dude and, at least from how things feel in the couple “spirited” turns I took on my way back to work, got my car dialed in great.

Meh, not dodgy at all...
...a bit Plymouth-y, maybe, but not dodgy.

The shop is dodgy looking, not the Plymouth.

nope, nope, nope
those wheels do not belong on that car.
old muscle needs classic style wheels, not riced out wheels.

My dad always told me the prettier the shop, lower quality work they do. I find hole in the wall shops do the best work.

I don’t mind larger wheels with modern tires on old muscle cars, and other modifications to make them handle better. Because old muscle cars handle like shit and I like handling.
I also wouldn’t call mesh style wheels like these ricey. I have different mesh style wheels on my car and I wouldn’t call them ricey either.
Although the particular TSW wheels and Vredestein tires on this Barracuda do kinda say “small town tire shop” to me.

Ricer because of all the civics that had them in the 90s and early 2000s. Some cars are a perfect fit for mesh wheels like BMWs, Porsches. But not classic muscle.
