Another day, another crazy Formula 1 race. Here’s the final results...
Take away what you will from the last-lap contact... I have to say Rosberg was at fault. He tried to pull a Hamilton from COTA last year but that's just not his driving style and it was a bit to obvious. Great race though, and a massive congrats Verstappen, Button, Grosjean and Wherlein (P10!!)

Thanks for spoiling the race with that lede image. I had no idea there was a McLaren running at the end of the race.
Race: Runied.

I was glad to see Button proving the pace of the McLaren, so nice to see they are slowly getting back where they belong.
It was also great to seen Verstappen prove his worth once again!

FIA section 52: No McLaren may finish the race while attached to a faster vehicle than its own.
They had to add that in when McLaren showed up to the grid in Australia last year with the car on a flatbed haha

I agree. Despite Buttons age his still a very reliable and good driver, and he’s still proving that.
Ditto for Verstappen, although minus the age bit.

A long way. I don't know how long but it was fairly impressive

Pitted in lap 16. So a long long time.

That was why I voted him driver of the day, even though JB and Pascal and Grosjean drove impressively into the points.

AH yes, right as I saw the laps count down and noticed the distance between Hamilton and Rosberg...
10/10 was not disappointed.
Side note: As terrible as the podium interview was, dat Noemi de Miguel tho.

As a Ham fan, I’m thrilled with this and I think so is he, Rosberg to me ended up looking like a malicious idiot trying to play things in a way he really doesn’t know how.
It makes me really sad that with the engine allocation it would take a miracle for Rosberg not to be WC...

I usually skip the podium interview because it is stupid. I stuck around for this one to hear from Hammy, and whoever that chucklehead is who did the interview turned it into a pitch from the Austrian Chamber of Commerce. Please bring back the post-race interviews that are done by the press or at least a knowledgeable commenter. That was a sham.
