It was way easier than I thought it was going to be giving the direction of the V6. Here’s how the old plug compared to the new, I’d say they did a damn fine job for 105,000 miles and only look worn out, nothing bad happening in there:
Here’s the first post from Saturday if you missed it:

I put in Motorcraft Platinum’s, I pulled Motorcraft’s out as well but I doubt they were platinum. Oh and they were only $2.52 a plug through Rock Auto.

Not bad. The Envoy is getting new AC Delco’s this weekend. Thinking it should go pretty smooth because inline-6, but you never know.

Took about 2.5 hours. It wasn’t hard, just time consuming. I only imagine if it was the 4 cylinder I would’ve been done in 30-40 minutes.

Yeah, I did the Jetta a few months ago (I-5) and the actually plug changing only took about 15 minutes. The rest of the time was wrestling with the stupid engine cover and running to Advance to get a magnetic plug socket because my regular one wouldn’t come off the plug once I had it screwed in.

I had to remove the upper intake manifold, EGR Valve, Air intake, pcv hose, and quite a few clips to get them exposed.
I ran to advance when I snapped one bolt and decided to replace the EGR Valve gasket as well. I subtracted store time from my total work time tho lol.

Easiest plug job I ever did was my ‘90 Volvo 760 Turbo Wagon. I’m not looking forward to doing them on my ‘03 Mazda 6 V6 with the same 3.0L as your Milan (probably).

It wasn’t that hard it was just time consuming.
Here’s a couple of videos that helped. It should be at the least very, very similar under the hood. His directions were very accurate.
