An inexplicably clean Rover. Wonder when this exited Britain.
Nice contrast in this image, yes? My phone is artsy.

It probably exited Britain when it was new seeing as it is left hand drive.

Im going to say its a 70s Land Rover because the tire on front. It seems like they stopped putting those up there by the 80s.

Well, it left the UK before ‘68 according to the headlights positioned between the fenders.

I was going to guess ‘67 or so, but I’m not too up on my Land Rover ID.

Best thing I ever took on a motorcross track was a Defender 90 TD5, dark green, white roof. Low gearing + idling rpm: it will just pull itself up the hill, must have been 45 degrees at least. These things can go places...

That sounds so much fun, I wish proper Defenders had been imported here.

I never really cared for off-roading. Up until that moment my brother (working for Land Rover) took me to an event and gave me the keys to that TD5. Just don’t use ‘m for cruising the highway at speeds over 60. All will fall apart eventually.
