It may not look like it, but kitty is feeling much better. Also I can walk almost upright like a modern human again.

You just went through the stages of evolution

I agree with SaveTheIntegras. You went through a metamorphosis. Do you have any superpowers?

Thankfully I never lost my opposable thumbs.

Only the ability to walk a cat on a leash.

JW why do people do this? Cats are independent animals, they don’t want to be walked, they want to explore solo. Or did the guy at the pet shop tell you it was a dog and now you’re just making it work?

Anyways, as long as you don’t put one on your kid I’m sure all will be fine.

A) the cat doesn’t explore outside without one. End of story.

B) have you ever tried putting an uncooperative cat in a carrier? A cooperative cat on a leash requires far fewer stitches.

C) so now we have sancti-mommies on Oppo? Seriously?

A) I understand that, but why? My last indoor/outdoor cat made it to 20 going outside every day until her last year, and my current one is 13 and on the same life path. Although he does have FIV, which kinda sucks.

B) Yes I have. And I fail to see how a leash would make that easier.

C) what the hell is a sancti-mommy

My cat stops working when I attach a leash to her. I think there's some electrical interference.

Funny, my dog does that too if it’s after 10 am. I think the secret is that this particular cat has so much fur that the harness isn’t noticeable. Then again, it also sits on command. Maybe the dog and cats brains got switched when the microwave broke.

Great to hear your both on the mend. Just take it slowly and don’t rush yourselves.

Maybe it has an oversensitive scruff area. Cats’ deactivation mechanism is triggered from there.

I had a cat that would play fetch. I miss that cat. Mrs. BicycleBuck is allergic to them.
