Had a Mazda club meet today. Took some photos.

First of all, the highlights:

My friend Tiffany’s 2004 Mazda6 i. 2.3 5-speed. 361,000 miles as of today. All original except for a few odds and ends maintenance items, and a few clutches. No rust, not even in the fender wells or the trunk. Driven every day (obviously). Going in for new headlights and a repaint soon.

The blue 2016 6 to the right of the orange 2004 is not mine. It’s a virtual twin, though. Recently bought.

My friend’s MazdaSpeed 3. She and her friend drove up there with me.

The other Speed 3 I cruised up there with. This one and the black one are both owned by mid-20s ladies with more knowledge about cars than any guy I’ve ever met.

Yes, that is a Corvette engine.

My sexy beast of a car. With the sunshade up because it was 87 million degrees today.

A 2014 3 sedan with an OEM Mazda stereo like mine. The owner hacked the stereo to be able to play movies via the center console’s USB port. She said it was very, very difficult but it works flawlessly now!

The orange cones weren’t because of us being pretentious. The park put them up for us once they knew we were a car club. I found that nice. People still tried to park all around us all day long even though we only took up a desolate corner of an already giant parking lot, but oh well.

Those might be the most fogged headlights I've ever seen. The paint doesn't look terrible though.

I saw it at the European Experience in Savannah, so he/she apparently gets around. I can’t really hate it. I hate the chrome graphics, but the rest...it’s a midsize sedan, he/she made it different.

We normally meet up and go for cruises. There are a ton of abandoned backcountry twisty roads in Kentucky. Makes for fun times. I haven't taken the 6 on them, yet, but my 3 was an absolute blast.

I’ve water a Speed6 for awhile now. Pretty much since I first heard of them but they scare me a bit. Not because of the car, but because of the condition most used ones seem to be in.
