Requirement: Boat must be made in 1957
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
A Chris-craft wooden speedboat would be a close second.

A nice canoe. I’m guessing they didn’t make aluminum canoes in 1957, but they definitely made cedar/wood ones.
I wouldn't want a larger boat as larger boats come with larger costs. And the kind of boating I like can be done with a canoe.

A Riva Tritone, because the Aquarama didn't exist till 1962

I’d take that on a three-hour tour.

I think these old Chris Crafts are some of the most beautiful machines man kind has ever made.

Considering how many people have enough money for a gorgeous wooden speedboat, I can't understand why I only ever see relatively boring modern ones

Yeah, especially one like these. You can get a nice cheaper wooden boat, but they are usually painted because it is a lot less up keep.

This is true, I imagine it would be work to keep one looking like that. But so worth it

Oh yeah. As someone who has done wood work on boats, I can tell you you either dedicate your time to them, or pay someone else a lot to dedicate theirs.

Probably a Chris-Craft Roamer Regal Royal 42, since wooden boats can be pretty damn annoying to maintain.
