Like the title says, I got to put a few miles on a new B9 Audi A4 Yesterday. Ask me anything.

Those headlights are neat. Not a question... Do you think the headlights are neat. Hahaha.

I’ve been a VW fan for a while now, but Cadillac is my luxury brand of choice. Audi is closing quickly though. Hope that answers your question.

The headlights are definitely neato. What’s even cooler is the sequential taillights ;)

When you first sat down in the car what immediately wowed you? That you audibly reacted to.

Is it numb even if somewhat capable like all the reviews have said?

Is it as boring and unchanged as it looks?

I would say the audible wow came at start up with the initialization of the Virtual Cockpit. That things is amazing to look at.

I would not call it numb. It’s more refined than A4s of yore, but it did not feel disconnected in any way. If you like a rowdy car though, this one is not for you.

It’s completely different from the B8.5 it replaces. In person the difference is much more striking than in pictures.

I’ve seen them both side-by-side in person. Viewing each from the side, they look near-identical, with the newer one having most of the same lines, just slightly better defined.

Did you make it more than 5 miles before you had to pull over and get a flatbed to the dealer? Lol JK, I am sure Audi has gotten it up to 10 miles by now. :)
But really, how are those seats? I worked at a company were a bunch of the brown nosers would get the same car brand as the owner. When the owner got an R8 and RS6 the lot filled with Audi’s (and tow trucks!). I was never impressed with the seats on the B8, the cabin and position were fantastic, but the seats just seemed like they were taken right out of the previous gen Golf.

Thanks for the feedback. I was so disappointed by the F30 (I have an E92 I plan to never sell) and hearing the B9 was the same way was really disappointing. I thought about an S4 for my next car but the lack of a manual has essentially crossed it off my list. I'll still test drive it and the A4 though.

The seats were nice. Not too aggressive or squishy. Coulda used a bit more substance. But that’s mostly because I’m a typical American in size, and the seats are typical German in ergonomics.

People have always called Audis numb, which I never really got. They’re pretty refined, but I think the fact that they’re not RWD gives people a predetermined feeling about them before they even drive one.

Is it similar to driving a B8/.5?
Once the B9 Allroad comes out, my parents are thinking of ordering one for European delivery.

Driving the B9 A4 feels like driving a more refined B8 S4. It feels so tight and light, And the dual clutch definitely helps that.
