1991 Mercury Capri with classic car tags? For $2600 no rust and the top is good? I say NP.

Eh, base model and automatic. Maybe if it was a manual XR2.
Would be cool to see more of these made into race cars.

Not the most exciting car. But, you don’t see too many of them anymore.

I don't remember seeing too many of them back when they were new either.

If it had a hardtop I’d say NP, without I’d say you need to drop the price around 700 to make it fair.

NP if it's exactly the thing you're looking for, since it looks like it's in really nice shape. But there's a ton of good stuff you could buy for the same money that makes it a CP for me.

Buddy of mine had an XR2 for awhile. And a guy at my work recently picked up a pretty clean example of one in teal. Neat little cars.

I'd rather save 1500 and get a mint 323/escort with a stick.

My dad had one of those as his daily driver and autocross car for a couple of years in the mid 90's. His was a non-turbo with the 5 speed stick, and it was deathly slow. I can not imagine one of those with an auto. Parts were pretty hard to fine when they were only a couple of years old, I can’t imagine that it would be much fun today. Although, you couldn’t get a new glove box handle, or even an entire new glove box, in 1995, so it might be that not much has changed over the years.
