"IanZ - limited-slip indifferential" (ianz-limited)

Longtime viewers of my brain will know that I am no fan of BMW’s current design language. I think it works well on some of their cars: the 2/4/7 Series, the Z4, and the i-Series cars which are really a different thing. But the 3-series is epically uninteresting and all their SUVs are ugly, sometimes horrifically so *cough*X6*cough*
The Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe is an official BMW concept, but the SUV one is fanmade.
With the exception of those swanky taillights it keeps the basics of the design (the kidney grille, the Hofmeister kink, the Angel-eye headlights) but the entire thing is much more modern and taut and clean.
This attempt is less successful at updating the language, but it’s still a major improvement over this...turd:

I actually like the current x5, but that Pininfarina coupe is gorgeous. That should for sure be the next 6 series, or 8. It's hard to tell how big it really is.

I love the shark-ness of the Pininfarina, it’s super slick looking.

I don’t know. Apparently the next 6 is supposed to be a 911-fighter, so we’ll see how it all works out.

Knowing BMW it'll be the 750il Grand Sedan.

“Sharkness”
That is the perfect word to characterize the overall front end. Nicely done!
