To be fair, Newports do have their own particular sales demographic. At least they did when I was growing up in VA back in the day. Stereotypes only work if there is some truth in them.

Indeed. It’s been many years since I saw it (on a double bill with Dog Day Afternoon), but I still remember the sound effects of the bullets hitting Harvey Keitel’s character. Cringeworthy to say the least.
