Drain gas, disconnect/battery tender, block off intake, block off intake to heater system (preventing nests), drain coolant and replace with new, using a low water content, and avoiding any hard water.

Rub salt on the oil pan to season it, take all the air out of the tires, put weight on top to prevent it from moving around. Cover the whole thing with dust...not sure why but all the cars I’ve seen stored for a long time all seem to have this dust layer...probably for protection

Chock the wheels/leave it in gear instead of setting the parking brake. A stuck parking brake in long term airport parking at 2 am after a 4 month stint overseas is not something I’d care to repeat, or wish on anyone else.

I’ve read that you should top off the gas, like really fill it up as much as possible, and add in fuel stabilizer. I’ve done that before for a 4 month hibernation.

I think that’s right for a metal tank, to stop condensation and therefore corrosion.
