Well, junkyard hunting was unfruitful. The only S40 of the same generation had the moonroof package, so different ceiling console. Guess it’s back to zip ties for now. However, I found some other little items to flip on eBay to make some cash, should help fund further junkyard expeditions, so not all is lost.
Junkyards, however, are crazy places. Literally hundreds of cars, such cheap parts, and self-serve everything. Definitely going to head to some others better equipped.

What state you living in? I’ve always been a fan of visiting self service junkyards, even if I don’t have a car I could find parts for in one of those lots.

I’m in San Antonio TX right now, should be relocating back to ATL soon. I was wondering if by chance you were near me and had went to some junkyards I wasn’t aware of, I like going to new yards.

‘fraid I can’t help you there, but I think I’ve been bit by the junkyard bug.

At least I avoided a bite by the spider that crawled out of the dashboard as I was disassembling.
