My truck rolled all 1s!

Seeing all the same numbers on my odometer is something I find oddly satisfying. I’m particularly happy to have caught six 1s, because I missed five 9s and five 8s.

Don’t worry, I pulled over and stopped to take the picture.

Kinja'd!!!

You have the GMC Six Aces - not to be confused with the Timken Four Aces

But that’s only 63 miles.

When I realized I missed 100,000 in my car, I was livid.

When I saw that, I thought the pixels had failed. It took me a second to realise what was going on and find a safe place to pull over and take a pic.

Kinja'd!!!

Next big thing was the 123456. It was on a long trip on the Autobahn, short of doing endless rounds at some rest area parking lot, there was no way of getting the pic without doing it “on the go”.

LOL, I feel like that disclaimer was probably necessary, considering the reliability of GMT800 gauges...

My car already had more than 111111, in fact, even more than 222222, when I got it

I was too, I took a picture of 100,003(5?) and posted here about how passed I was. Somebody was nice enough to photoshop it to read 100,000, and that actually did make me feel less pissed.

Did you know that arithmetic works just the same in binary? Long division, multiplication, all of it. My little geeky thing.

It’s easier in some regards because you don’t ever have to ask how many times some number goes into some other number. It either does or it doesn’t.
