So what you’re saying is get the Lexus, and be the biggest baller on the trails?

10/10 would rather have the real Land Cruiser, instead of the glorified soccer mom one.

In 2012, Lexus themselves became the ballery-ist by actually doing it and winning the Baja 1000 apparently LOL

Typical. 2nd and 3rd owners that intend to use as intended shy away from the “pink panty cruiser”

More luxury and prestige for less money :)

The lexus is more soccer-momy but honestly, it looks much better than the Land Crusier.

The pricing in general on both bugs the hell out of me. We’ve got to replace the Trailblazer in the next 18 months and how am I supposed to get my mother into an LX when 10 year old ones with 125,000 miles are about we paid for a fully loaded LT EXT V8 4x4 when it was new 13 years ago?!?!

Amazing! Though it was ‘just’ a class win in 2012, it being the only one to finish (from three starters). Story from the 2011 edition here: http://www.trucktrend.com/events/163-120…

The weird part is that they’re like $5k difference when they’re new. They’re practically identical cars which is what annoys me. I personally like the LX a lot more. But I’d settle for the Land Cruiser since I expected it would depreciate to about low 20s by now in comparison to a similar LX that would be in the high 20s.

I’ve been watching the 2008 LXs for a year or two now and I’m just sitting here going like. It’s literally been the same price this entire time.

I’d get the land cruiser, as I’m pretty sure it has a less complicated suspension than the lexus’s air suspension.

Oof. I know they’re Toyotas but damn that seems like a lot of money for that many miles.
