A silver beauty model 212 to be precise. It’s been in my family for as long as I can remember, it’s charged every car my parent’s have owned at least once. It’s also been left out in the rain at least once and it still does the job of keeping my electrically challenged automobiles in working condition. It’s so cool to flip that surprisingly heavy switch and watch the charging meter flop around for a few seconds until it finds it proper spot.
Sure a modern charger would look better and have digital readouts and other nice stuff. But this one works and has what my friends would call “patina”

I don’t think it’ll charge your cell phone very well though...

It Doesn’t Matter What It Looks Like If It Works

Stick welding is fun, I prefer MIG though

Just had that conversation with a friend. I much prefer MIG. But... If you’re going HD like welding Cast Steel or Iron you need Stick.
