Right there with you, except I was wearing the ball cap years before I lost any hair. In fact, any time I went outside, I was in a ball cap and shades. Oh, I also don’t have a ‘vette. And despite owning a WRX, the bill on my cap is not flat.

lol! I was post grad STi guy, minus the grad. I traded mine for an M3 instead of a Cayman when I got a new Job. I’m sure I would have considered a Cayman back then, but it was 2006/7 and the Cayman had just been released ergo no used market.

This was awesome!!! I thought I was alone in the world but yet I am not. Feels like I wrote the script for this, lol.
I am on my 5th Subaru though and second WRX and I am 38. So although I didn’t buy an STi after graduating, I am reverting to post 20's mid life crisis and doing it that way.
Maybe I will have a a Corvette soon and wear all of my old hats and rock it?!
But wait, I am in the Jeep crowd too, uh oh! Mine aren’t Bro-Jeeps though. I laugh at those when they can’t even wheel them.

Yeah I’ve worn a hat almost my whole life. Frequency increased greatly in college since wearing hats to class was now acceptable. Now I have a desk job so I try to limit hat wear to even out the tan line, but I still wear one more often than not.

Tan line. Yeah, about that. I’ve got a bright white dome with a brown face/neck punctuated by reverse-image raccoon eyes. It’s somewhat mellowed over the past few years with the purchase of a suitably large floppy hat which is worn anytime I’m expecting to be in the sun more than 20 minutes or so. I watched my grandmother deal with skin cancer and don’t want to follow in her footsteps.
