There isn’t much room to move around in here, LOL.
In the search for more GTA$, I’ve decided to buy a 6-car garage that’s near the mod shop in Sandy Shores. That way, I can easily source both modded variants of the Vapid Sandking XL from the parking lot that’s across the street from said shop.
I start the “Time To Get Away” mission to freeze the in-game time at 12:00, then I drive across the nearby hills and back in my own Sandking XL - I usually just go along the dirt path and turn back when I reach the barn where a tractor sometimes spawns. I grab modded trucks as they spawn in the parking lot and then store them at 870 Route 68, the garage that I bought. I particularly like the blue variant.

It’s all fun and games until somebody tries to park a Cargobob in their garage. Then it’s absolutely hilarious.

It looks like the parking lot of the oil field service company I used to work at.

I need to do this cheat, as I don’t want to spend my $679,000 buying a donk, then cry of being penniless.

How many people on PC and how many people on console? I feel we need to get a crew together

Having to wait 48 minutes between sales does slow things down a bit, so I treat this as a way of augmenting the money that I get from missions.
I hear you on the penniless thing - I’ve had to sell some of the cars that I have (some of which I liked, and others that I didn’t care for) so that I can scrape together the money to buy and mod the more expensive cars that I want.

There are a number of Opponauts on PC - there’s me, Sam Stoner, Jagvar, TheOnelectronic, lonestranger, BmanUltima, No Prius Needed, and others. I’m not sure how many people are still on the last-gen consoles or who have moved on to the current-gen consoles.
I don’t see too many members of Grand Theft Oppo (the official Oppositelock crew) playing GTA V on PC these days - I’d like to do some more Heists or just horse around, as GTA Online is rather boring when you’re playing alone.

LOL, is there still a way to do that?

I’m on PC as well. I try and play at least 1-2 times a week but I have to adult also though so sometimes can’t play.

Not sure. Haven’t played in a very long time. I’m sure they probably fixed it.

I grind a few single player missions, can get through on in 10-20 minutes and clear $15k -$25k each time.

I'll be on next weekend if you want to do heists or something. Also, did you see the new update?

Cool. I’m looking forward to seeing what other cars are there in addition to the Lykan/Lamborghini combo that is the Pegassi Reaper - here’s to hoping for some variety in the update.

Yeah, I tend to finish the missions fairly quickly, which leads to $11k-$23k payouts.

Lets also hope that everything is reasonably priced unlike the other DLCs. The $1M+ everything is getting old.

Yeah, aside from the Schafter V12, the prices on everything are absurd - I certainly hope that Rockstar will stop pushing microtransactions as hard since they’ve already made $500M off of them.
I’ve resisted microtransactions thus far (though I should’ve taken the free Shark Card deal that was offered last summer with the PC version) in favor of grinding for the cash that I need, and I’m going to be very frustrated if I buy a really expensive car that randomly winds up with a permanent crew logo (a glitch that’s affected three other cars that I’ve owned).

Hmm I've never had that glitch before. Have you tried switching crews and setting that logo and then removing it? Also, try lobby hopping until you find a hacker that will give you cash.

I haven’t done that, no. I usually remove the logo from an affected car at LSC, and it works, but the logo reappears the next time I enter Online/boot up the game.
I haven’t done much lobby hopping - the most I’ve gotten from a hacker was $60k. I can certainly try again.

That happened to me quite a bit on the 360 but I haven’t had that on PC. Although R* cracked down on hackers, there are still plenty who are willing to give out cash. My friend got the game recently and managed to get both millions in $ and RP. You just have to find the right hacker that wont spawn windmills or kill the entire lobby.
