Question I’ve been pondering. What will the market look like for these in the coming years? Will it go down like we’ve seen with older Gallardos, Ferraris, etc.?
I like the black on red spec here.

The MP4-12C is dropping below €150k here in Europe actually. I expect that is due to the 650S being introduced as a succesor quite quickly, and with the 570S entering at a lower pricepoint this drove the MP4-12C down even more.

I’m betting the Ferrari community will keep prices on the more desirable models in the unobtanium range.

Buy this Ferrari for less than a brand new Mirage!

The 12C can be had for $140,000 now, and in two years they’ll be like $90,000. Maybe less.

I expect to see these go down. The 12C’s apparently had a lot of flaws/quality issues from what I heard. Also, being quickly replaced by a vastly superior car doesn’t help it’s value either. And TBH, it’s kind of a ho-hum car that happens to be stupid fast.

90k sounds a bit cheap for a 12C a couple years down the road. Then again, maintenance for higher mileage examples could drop prices sharply over the next couple of years so you could be right.

They’ve been superseded over and over already. They’ll go way down. I pity the original owners who were the first to get in the McLaren train, they get hit the hardest.
