My iPhone 6 just keeps randomly restarting. I’m at a loss because I need to be able to rely on the phone. Any ideas ?

But in all seriousness, back up your data and check your apps. All it takes is one dodgy app to fuck up a phone and if all else fails then do a factory reset.

My galaxy S5 does the same thing. Backup and do a factory reset. It should be ok for a few months. At least my Galaxy has been.

Make sure everything is backed up to icloud or your hard drive and then do a factory reset. I had to do this a few times with my old 5s.

If you do go with the iTunes desktop backup, select the encrypted backup option. It’ll restore like 90% of the apps, data, and more importantly, your passwords. It’ll ask if you want to backup your apps, let it. That’ll save you a lot of time on the restore since it won’t have to download all of them again from the store (via iTunes desktop).
Without encrypted desktop backup, you’ll get back your apps, your data, some of your settings, but then you’ll be spending the rest of the day reentering passwords on apps and such. iCloud is a good last resort, but doesn’t restore nearly as much as the desktop backup, and, you’ll be re-setting up apps and entering passwords all day.

My iPhone 6S got stuck on a restart loop a week after I got it. There was no fix for it.
If it stays on long enough, go into the settings and disable “Find my iPhone” on it and take the phone off of your Find my iPhone account. When my phone started looping like that it eventually got to the point where it would just *constantly* restart, with absolutely no space between reboots. Since Find My iPhone couldn’t be accessed because the phone wouldn’t stay on long enough, the techs at the Sprint store couldn’t transfer my phone number to another phone. I don’t know how that works, but that’s what happened. It took them over an hour of trying to get the phone to stay on long enough, talking on the phone with Apple, and a whole bunch of other stuff before they were finally able to remove the phone from the Find My iPhone account and transfer my number/info to another iPhone 6S.
Good luck!

Back it up for sure. If your close to an Apple Store do the lazy thing and take it there.
