Last night I got a patio umbrella and base, a grill, a bag of charcoal, and other assorted small items. They fit in the back of the 335xi no problem! I wimped out on buying the laundry hamper I was also supposed to get, thinking it wouldn’t fit. Once I loaded up the car I almost went back into the store. Who needs an SUV? Not this guy! (yet)

What, are you a 90-lb European woman? Load that mofo up! (actually, I don’t recommend overdoing it, as my lowered sedan once hauled 1,000# of concrete and 500# of lumber at the same time and completely trashed my bumpstops, which were already dry rotting.)

This is the first time I’ve attempted to put a bunch of crap in the car so I didn’t want to overdo it. Now I have a better sense of how much actually fits.

Yup, you don’t need an SUV. Might be the same kind of guy who doesn’t need a truck either... LMAO
Fix something major and do home repairs and you will be thrilled you can’t fit a thing in there.

“Who needs an SUV” was a reference to the Grand Cherokee I just sold. Effectively, my 335xi coupe is my replacement for both that and my 135is. If I need to carry a larger item than fits in my car, we have my fiancee’s Impreza hatchback.

I own a Grand Cherokee, a Cherokee, and have had 5 Subaru’s. None of them can fit a 4x8 of plywood or drywall.
That is what I meant.
No worries, glad your Bimmer can be useful.

Maybe I’m reading your comments wrong, but it kinda feels like you’re trying to start an internet dick measuring contest over who carries more 4x8 sheets of plywood or drywall.

Yup, you are and you win cause of your last comment.
