Are you trying to brag about your house and car?
You make me sick. Please give me your house and car though.

sadly not my house. Its a new side project I have - designing a new mudroom with a master bath above.

Your Sketchup model isn’t sagging enough in the rear.

Mmm love remodels and additions. So much more personal and fun on them than a pre-planned behemoth box.

this is my house, and o man I miss that WRX. The house was a bit of a dump when I bought it. I added that porch and mudroom and the room directly behind it was a 3 season room I enclosed and turned into a dining room. I think this picture was taken the day I finished painting the exterior.

Art Allroad is wrong because no collapsed air suspension. Therefore, it is not imitating life.

that house is from 1860 or 1880, I forget which she said. It was actually the client of one of my first side projects back in 2008. We dug out thier basement and finished it. I did both the design and the digging for that one

Your Allroad and the Allroad that was in front of my house a few days ago should be friends. Their collapsed suspensions complement each other.

Miss the WRX you say?

Looks great!
How long before you cave and buy another WRX hatch

no joke, as soon as I open my door it re inflates. Its fine while the cars rnning but after a few hours it sinks a little. the opposite tire was going up a little ramp to make it look even worse.

funny guy. I’m just glad I made it through Saturday without anything eventful happening with the Allroad.

I probably would if the would do a straight trade. they probably wont.

Probably the only way they’d go for that is if you had two Allroads to trade

I have a CL search alert for anything with manual, less than $10k, AWD 4WD or RWD. those both came in the last alert

do u know what they were asking?

$11k. Were I buying it I’d want to talk them down about $1,500 based on a walkaround though (give or take depending on a carfax). Looked to be in good shape, timing belt and head gaskets were done within the past 500 miles, but the driver door had a fair amount of scratching and it was missing the cargo cover. Also no maintenance history (bought at auction).
...I’d still totally buy her and start my “Outback XT” collection if I had the money.

Found a black ‘07 for sale in CT for $9,500 OBO as well

Oh, and while still rare the earlier XT’s (05-06) are
much easier to find
(3,500 manuals built instead of the 1,500 in 07-09) and
usually a good deal cheaper
, but they’ll require a good inspection of the turbo and replacing the turbo downpipe with a catless model. Also they don’t have SI Drive or an AUX jack.

SCHOOL ME ON THIS SHIT
I have to draw a bathroom. It should be straightforward. I tried Sketchup but I don’t get it.

thats like I have to build a roll cage but I didn;t get it....
what did you not get?
My first time is make everything into groups. the walls are a group. each window/toilet/door/shower is its own group so you can move the toilet as one object insted of a bunch fo lines/planes. also hit up sketchup warehouse and you can download a bunch of shit.
https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/search.html?q=…
you could probably download one and modify it to fit what you need and then 9/10ths of the work is done for you

Awesome, that warehouse has a bunch of shit that I can use!
As for what I don’t get, I was having a problem building the skeleton. I could put lines down and make them connect, but I couldn’t seem to make a functional wall to save my life. Then, after I shat a bunch of lines all over the screen I found the wall frame. I felt stupid and beaten by a computer, so I quit life messing with it and played some Mega Man.

you can use the arrow keys to make sure your drawing in the right direction (x,y, or z)
the push/pull tool (P) is the most common. if you make a rectangle (R) you can use offset (F) to offset the walls the correct thickness (4.5 for 2x4 with a sheet of gyp of either side
