My friend told me that he went to CarMax with his dad and that his dad fell in love with a black 2010 E63 AMG. Affordability is not an issue; however, he told me that his dad fears about reliability and maintenance costs, as they have owned mostly Lexuses and are used to having no hassles. So I told my friend to tell his dad about the CarMax warranty that is offered.
I think I might have just sold them on the car.
And potentially bankrupted CarMax as if Doug hasn’t already.

Reliability on these? Actually pretty good. Most engine issues had already been fixed in production before this one was built. I’ve seen some air springs leak, but not many at all. Sometimes, in wet climates, air suspension compressors go bad. Can’t really think of anything else.
These are my personal favorite E-class AMG. Not the turbo ones, not the 4matic ones, not mine, not the supercharged ones.
