Occasionally I feel the need for a list.
This time it’s Gearboxes That I Have Used
1 x rubber band CVT
2 x steel belt CVT
several x three speed automatic
2 x four speed manual
1 x six speed DCT
several x four speed automatic
1 x six speed automatic
several x five speed manual
2 x six speed automated manual
3 x five speed automated manual
1 x eCVT
1 x 1 speed (because electrons)
1 x eight speed manual (OK, it was a tractor)
I’ve been driven in eight and twelve speed automated manuals and a two speed automatic just to add to that.
Have a rubber band CVT. Graag gedaan.

Nee, but Google Translate does....
It was a play on the picture of a DAF Variomatic transmission.

Not gonna try and remember quantities, but:
3/4/5/6sp manual
4sp+elec O/D manual
4/5sp dual ratio manual (and not just in 4x4s: 1980s Mitsubishi FTW)
3/4/5/7/8sp auto (plus I’ve been driven in a 2 auto)
2sp manual-shift auto
4sp clutchless manual
4/5sp single clutch automated manual
6sp DSG
1sp electric
steel belt, toroidal, and hydraulic/swashplate CVT (the last was a forklift, but it counts, right?)
several variants on god-knows-how-many-possible-ratio-combos truck gearboxes
Have a Mitsubishi Super Shift ( wikipedia image ):

That’s an eclectic mix!
I forgot one, but only as a passenger: Pneumocyclic four speed semi automatic. They were used on buses. Dreadful things if the drivers didn’t bother lifting while changing gear. Which they didn’t.
If you’re going to count a forklift, I’m going to count a Gravely commercial lawnmower. Two gears and two ranges, all operated without a clutch.
