Cheap RWD car powered by a Ford 5.0 with retro styling I can tolerate in a quirky way. How good or bad of an idea is buying this?

Isn’t that just basically a mustang in a suit and tie?

Buy that And build it! It’s basically a Mustang in a cheap Tux.

Can’t really go wrong with it, that car is what gave me the gearhead bug when I was like 2~3 years old.

Do it! The LSC actually shared the H.O. 5.0 from the Mustangs. They have a different firing order than a non H.O. so they have that unique “Mustang sound”.

It’s like when Eddie Murphy puts on the fat suit in The Nutty Professor.

At least it isn’t this abomination.
I always loved the look of a Mark VII though, I’ll likely own one someday. The Fox platform is obviously well supported, slap a set of GT40 heads and a GT40 intake on it and surprise some people.

Buying this is a good idea.
Also I know being in the NV mountains helps, but those are the most dramatic photos I’ve ever seen on a sub-$1000 CL ad.

No idea. Not traditionally a Ford guy, but willing to learn at $900 for a fuel injected V8. It looks more like a period correct Thunderbird to me.
