I think these MICHELIN ® Defender ® LTX ® M/S are getting some extreme on-road testing from me. Got these mid-November and 20,000 miles later they are at 9/32nds on all four corners, center and outside grooves. I rotate every 7,000 miles regardless of wear.
Usually this is my cue to upsize the wheels and take away sidewall (or drive something that doesn’t have so much body lean that the weight causes the tires to overflex), but I’m going to stick with the 265/60R18 for the duration of my ownership. They handle everything at a B+ to A- which is plenty more than the C- driving needed daily.
I’m a good boy during the week, really! It’s only on Sunday mornings when I take off the khakis and let loose!

Here’s one of my tires after a day at the track.
These had less than 24,000 miles on them.

I'm now on a list after taking off my khakis and letting loose. Apparently that's frowned upon at Applebee's

If I ever go track driving or take up canyon carving as a much more serious hobby, I think I might go with a set of steelies to cheap Chinese summer tires. Cheap tires+grip
Yay

I look forward to seeing your car at the bottom of a canyon. Lol
