Now calculate the amount of work done to stretch it 0.7 meters beyond its natural position. Use 9.81 m/s/s for the acceleration due to gravity.

Nah, I was looking at FJs, then went with 2" lift springs from Toytec.

Great. 2UZ is a solid motor. 05+ get 5 speed transmissions and variable valve timing. Heated leather, pretty comfy. Body on frame, solid rear axle and 4LO keeps it pretty capable. All I’ve added is a backup cam and nav radio. Pretty happy with it.

Oh and it’s rated to tow 7,000 lbs. and does it pretty well.

Report back with how it rides. I want to get some 5100s but not sure on springs. The OEM shocks are getting long in the tooth with 240k on them lol.

Dang, yeah I went with Toytec sprangs because the sprang rate is only 10-15% stiffer than stock with a modest lift, whereas the old man emu are above 50% I believe. I will report back about Bilstein 5100s+2" Toytecs.

Automatic. Kept the same final gear vs the older 4 speed, but it got a lower crawling 1st gear.
