I’ve only seen hail three times in my life and today was by far the biggest storm and the longest lasting event I’ve been in. It’s so surreal as its happening. It also makes it kinda cold outside compared to the mugginess that was there before.
Sorry for the portrait video. I was literally sitting at my desk and heard what sounded like a giant pile of rocks hitting the office windows. I quickly got up to see what was going on.
We knew the storm was coming, but I never dreamt it would be like this. A few of my coworkers are having to call insurance because their cars got dinged. Mine was safe under the gas station awning up the street.

Hope they know to take the insurance check, go to paintless dent removal, and pocket the difference.

The guy that fixed my door ding runs a business called “Oh Hail” and he is a pro at PDR. He posted a picture during the hailstorm and said “Great weather!”

It got kinda scary for a bit because the wind was blowing the hail into the office windows. There was baseball sized hail a few miles south of us!

I don’t think I could ever work someplace that didn’t have covered parking for two reasons: (1) hail and (2) Texas summers.

My entire workplace has been on the phone with their insurance companies today. Not surprisingly, they're all backed up and with no ETAs on claims.
