I’ve been looking at these GT3 cars and I can’t stop throwing spare change on my monitor. They’re NP for what they are.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Number one: This Z4 GT3. It’s in Ecurie Ecosse and black, though if I buy this I’ll totally get extra blue. 180,000 British.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
But wait! The ad for this one says 275k British for TWO Z4s. Better value, though Christ I absolutely adore the Ecurie Ecosse.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Next is this 997 RSR, though I kind of think I can just call Porsche for a white spare for less than the 220k Euros this is asking.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Then there’s this, the most remarkably-priced 12C GT3 on the site. At just 170k Euros, it’s a steal, considering the team that ran it.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
This Viper GT3-R, meanwhile, is US$500k, but it’s pretty competitive for what its worth. And it’s just 2 years old, so the price is understandable.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
This 458 GT3, however, is a consistent winner, and with a sexy body mated to a reliable powertrain, the thing is worth the money.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
R8 LMS ultra? Yes, and as a bonus, the ad says the seller is Sebastien Loeb Racing, care of Leclere Maxime. Can’t get more high-profile than that, but even more surprising is that this particular example is listed at 180k Euros.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Its Italian sister, the Gallardo GT3, comes with a really cool Blancpain livery, but I’m not sure if its ready-to-race out of the box. For 120k British, though, it’s neat.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Last but not least, this Gullwing Longhood Mercedes SLS GT3. It’s a 2-pack, in 2011 and 2013 spec, which means I have enough in case I total one.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
I’ll be throwing in this V12 Vantage GT3 for good measure, because V12.
BmanUltima's car still hasn't been fixed yet, he'll get on it tomorrow, honest.

How hard would it be to get one of these road legal?

Did also factor in the cost of the engineers that have to maintain the car for you

There are several C6 GT3s still tooling around in some European racing series. I’m just biding my time (and hoping I win the lottery) before I can buy one on the cheap and have an epic track day car.

a new Bugatti Chiron just seems ridiculous at that price. I could get a bunch of these much faster racecars!

They are ridiculous value, no question. Give it another few years and these will be track day weapons for even less.

So... hard... to... choose.
Maybe I can just rent them on a 3-month plan? After time expires, get the other one.

I’d get one of each GT car plus a bunch of cheap open wheel Formula cars, NASCAR, and LMP’s. House them all in this well lit garage all for less than what a Chiron and a One:1 costs. Lottery at the moment here is near 400,000,000 USD. Hmm...... I might need a bigger garage than that.

Sure, but it would probably be cheaper to by a normal street version and upgrade it to high hell, than it would be to get one of these things on the street with a license plate.

non yellow headlights
turn signals
license plate brackets with lights F/R
horn
odometer
DOT tires
emissions devices (not impossible to install)
titled as a kit car
Hmmm... Maybe my dream of taking a C7.R or a Rebellion R-One to pick up some Whataburger isn’t that impossible

Depends on the state. If they have headlights/taillights/wipers/road tires they could be legal in Kentucky.

Yes, all that I approve.
But in my case, I’ll make room for one FXX K. I would always be willing to shell out cash for a car that has a V12 and tailfins, a combination which will never come again in our lifetimes.

Oddly enough, i’d go for an old FXX over the K. Da noise is just that little bit more glorious in the FXX. But I feel yeah :]

Kansas Doesn’t need front plates
horn will be easy
odometer also easy
as well as tires
emissions will be easy
should be easy to get kit car title(?)

Beast. I’d have the Evo FXX, personally, because that one’s an MF on its own right.
Put it this way: After I play with the FXX Evo, I’ll put it back in the line of cars. After I play with the FXX K, I’ll put it in a levitating bombproof glass case at the center of the garage, with a Latin inscription saying, in English: “Where wondrous beauty and stunning technology meet”.
There’s going to be three of such glass cases; there will be another for rally cars (inscription: The chariot that conquers all paths) and road cars (inscription: For the glory of driving), the contents of which I still have yet to decide on).

an Oppo community rental endurance racing team!
See, because I want them all and I can’t make them fit, it’d be best to just rent the cars. We can rent at least two of them, and by the end of the season we will have used all the cars in all major events, barring the 997.

Yes. We can also rent out the cars on track days to non-oppo folks in order pay for maintenance costs.

I meant that instead of buying them outright, we can rent them (plus crew) for three months.

Oh! Now that’d be absolutely glorious. Drive them like you stole them for those three glorious months and then afterwards you don’t have to worry about keep them up and running.
