Well a little while go someone bumped my Z when it was parked. I didn’t like that, but it allowed me to get the rear tailgate area of the Z replaced with insurance. We did the underside of the car, both dog legs were replaced, I posted that before. So under the rear light panel and under the top plate of the hatch tailgate was not great, I knew it and cleaned it out before and put Miracle Paint and fiberglass weave on it to seal it up and keep water out and everything together. Well now we will have an all new hatch area.

Right after removing all the coverings, the holes here had been sealed up with fiberglass and miracle paint and painted over. Now all ground off:

Dent that came with the car in rear corner, we just added it onto the damage since that was the corner that was hit.... shhhhht The bumper hid it well and the car is low so it was hard to see.

Starting to build up a better structure than Datsun did originally.

Well that’s it so far, I will post another update when it’s done.

Nice work. I’ve now added working on the one part of my Camaro that I hadn’t touched yet. While working on it in my parents’ garage their neighbor came over and kindly pointed out that the rear bumper was too close to the rear valence and was rubbing the paint. This is what he noticed in a car that currently has rust holes big enough to put your fist through exposed. Well now I’ll be able to say that I’ve been through from nose to tail.
