I’m always thinking about what car I want to buy after graduating school. A Lexus sedan would be a practical pairing with my NA.

Yeah I couldn’t help but think about your Lexus searches. There really isn’t anything to dislike about them.

I don’t know much about them but I don’t really see a reason why they wouldn’t have typical Lexus reliability... I do know that most of these cars like new timing belts every 80-100k

I had a 95 gs300. My biggest complaint was it had a tiny trunk. I can/could fit more in the trunk of my e30. Don’t know how newer ones compare.
Almost never see them anymore. I figure it’s because they came with a 2jz and everyone took their engines.
I sold mine for $2k after I hit a deer. Step dad did the selling so I never met the buyer but with how quickly they jumped on it I always figured they just got it for the drivetrain

hmm interesting. when I saw they were 6 cylinder cars I figured they must be a I6 similar to the JZ series.

Yeah. I’m not sure about any other generations but that one had the same drivetrain as the NA supra.
I always dreamed of slapping on a turbo and having a sleeper, but lack of funds and the aforementioned deer dashed those hopes.
Yes I daily a Prius and I like it, hate me.

Nope, they are perfect cruisers. Just have to do the timing belt on the V8s every 80k or so miles.
I’m on the hunt for a pearl white LS460 L with the air suspension and heated/cooled and reclining rear seats. I originally wanted a LS600hl but it looks like not too many new ones were sold and thus there are very few used ones on the market. And the ones that are available are about 35k....
