My sister has had 2 very high-mileage Town & Countrys in a row with very few problems. I remain optimistic, but I know my history.

It doesn’t matter if the contract went to Toyota even; I am not getting in one of those things.

Maybe it’s like HDTV - I waited a looooong time to buy one - it also didn’t hurt that the technology came a long way in a short time. Two Sony Bravias, and now a Pioneer Kuro Plasma that turns out to have a cult following. It was gifted to us. Watching the Jets lose has never looked better.

Yeah - the few times I drive a year I’d like something interesting and involving. Or a Shinkansen - then I’ll be driven. We need those.

they’re vulnerable if the market tastes change, or if fuel prices spike. Jeep and Ram are more or less bankrolling the entire automotive arm of the company. they’re also incredibly weak on electrification and other alternative powertrains. And for reasons unknown to anyone sane, a lot of the money Jeep and Ram are pulling in is being wasted on trying to resurrect a brand hardly anyone gives a shit about.
plus, The Stronzo in the Sweater just basically torpedoed their car sales by taking a couple of very public pisses on the Dart and 200.

That should make them much more useful vehicles. Now Google Car can automatically call the tow truck for you and suggest top rated bars in the area while you wait.

It’s perfect. Right when the Google car becomes sentient and starts destroying everything, the Chrysler transmission will break, thus disabling it.
The ideal failsafe.
