Dayum. My truck (5.3) got 15.5 all through the winter and 18.1 all through last summer. Not counting tanks with heavy amounts of highway driving. Highway tanks this winter see me around 16.5-17.5 and as good as 21-22 last summer. I’m not exactly what you’d call light-footed, either.

How heavy IS that thing?

I take it you’ve been hooning... With a new car who wouldn’t be!

That was my biggest revelation when I got a powerful car, suddenly what I do has influence on my mileage. with my old shitboxes I could floor it from light to light and still get OK mileage, not so anymore with a WRX.
