And my god is it good. It has some sediments on it but I don’t care, this is truly wonderful.

The wine I drank tonight was not nearly as refined as that. It was ok, though. Worked well with the chicken I made with it, too.

The last time I’ve seen that was when I was in my 20s. That was 20 years ago!

I have always wanted to try that stuff. My parents have some kind of advertisement for that stuff laying around somewhere in the house.
In regards to that sediment, you need a wine strainer. We just cleaned out my grandmother’s house and she had a sterling silver one in a cupboard in the dining room. I’m sure it would be very useful...IF I HAD ANY VINTAGE WINE OR LIQUORS!

Found some in my drinks armoire, there are lots of obscure stuff there. This is way too good

What kind of wine is it? That is a wine, right?
(forgive the uneducated bourbonite)

Yeah, but I could not find it, and we are in wine bottle 3 already so I also couldn’t be bothered

What is it?

Champagne liquor, very limited production during the 90's

A white zinfandel. My partner got it as part of a wine-of-the-month club he was briefly part of. For a cheap wine, it was pretty good.

It may sound a bit absurd but when buying cheap wines I usually just go by bottle design, the ones with funny names and nice designs are usually pretty good

For me it was like, “LEMON? SOLD.”
*may not actually taste like lemon.

I’m like that with lemon, orange and cranberry. Anything with any of those flavours is something I’ll like

It’s always fun to open a special, treasured volume. You’ve not had exactly that before. You will never have exactly that again. Enjoy it, and all the memories around it for you and yours.

We are all somehow bound to a boring and difficult life. All we have is moments like this, getting drunk and laughing at each other.

May we never trade it.
![]() 04/24/2016 at 01:34 |

May we find a way to deal with it.

I can’t, and wouldn’t even if I could, disagree with that. I am in constant amazement of the variety of paths trod by us all.
![]() 04/24/2016 at 02:03 |

And none of these paths will lead to the happiness we seek. Because there is no true happiness, all we have are moments.

I’m not sure I can agree with that. You can check my post history for a small window of my perspective. I don’t disagree, either. “All we have are moments” does resonate with me, strongly. Godspeed, and good night. For the record, I do envy you that ‘93 Petite Liquorelle. I hope you enjoy again the good fortune that got you that bottle, be it in love, fortune, or fame.

That bottle is as old as I am. I’m incredibly jealous. I’d love a taste of it.
