How do you view versions of regular cars that are something special vs plain versions of special cars?
Example:
RS2600 vs. RS200

I like them.

Was there even a regular version of the RS200?

I think the RS200 was the regular version. They also made the RS200 evo, wich was the public version but more nuts. I would like of it like the Ford GT, a car designed and built as a race car that had to be sold to the public to meet regulations.

Alright, so here’s a Group B monster that also has a regular, non-batshit version.
Just because this is a good excuse to post the Group-B MR2 (Which more people should call “The Batmobile.”)

God, I forgot about the MR-2 rally. So badass.

this reminds me of a quote from the Shakespeare play
12th night
“Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them!"

Wasn’t this only in concept!? I mean, I guess a lot of Group Bs were, weren’t they.
What I mean by that, is that by having the regular MR2, that would have sufficed for competition, so there would have been no batshit crazy production MR2 - right!?
