To me it’s just the close similarity in some of the forms on their faces.

The grill is basically the exact same shape and the headlights are only slightly more squinted. I had to add that little double lip to the front splitter area to really sell the Fusion vibe.

And don’t get me wrong, I’m a big fan of your car, just giving you a hard time. Definitely not hating. :)

(Also I was really bored at work and itching to play in Photoshop. If it wasn’t your Mustang I would have shopped someone elses ride, haha!)

That actually looks better than the standard design, and has even more Ford family resemblance. That should be the mid cycle facelift.

Haha I don’t take offense. I’ve stated before that the Ecoboost would get a lot more love if it was a Fusion Coupe instead of a Mustang. Some people *cough* Miles Smith *cough* write it off as the ‘worst muscle car’ just because it has a Mustang badge on it
