Yep, and that must be the cause.
What confused me was TMZ made it sound at first as if something untoward had happened within the premises (that was when they were still saying “one fatality, presumably Prince”).
I tried to go back to a cached copy of TMZ but it managed to crash Firefox. I did find this early news item (Daily Telegraph):
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
That makes me think he was found dead by someone, which of course meant the police sent the whole team.
Shocking indeed. Not particularly a fan, but I respected him.

Yeah - that was an unfortunate way to word it, but that’s what the internet gets you - you can hit publish without an editor having read your piece. I used to be an editor (and have been edited) so I understand how important a second set of eyes can be.
