This is the best part of the year, the time where I’m finally able to put my FoST’s power down and I’m reminded that “oh yeah, my car is really fucking fast”.

Was watching a few of the STs run at autocross yesterday - those guys have sticky tires and if they get on it too hard coming out of a turn, wheelspin happens in no time. Your cars really make some good power.

I fought it for a while, but I love having two sets of wheels/tires. My car didn’t seem any slower on the snows, but it’s nice to have the grip back.
I bought a really poopy set of snow tires, that go from decent snow tires to ice skates when the road is wet at the temp is above 40f.

That reminds me, I need to do the same. Sadly, I think I actually get better performance out of my snows then the Bridgestone Ecopia tires on my Civic. lol

If Ford did any one thing with the current STs, it’s find the absolute streetable limit for the chassis. The entertainment factor of the FiST and the FoST comes from not just having a solid chassis, but having one stuffed full of as much power as they can take, and having Ford trust that you can handle it.
