I hate you.
Also, see you tomorrow!
I will own a 300SL Gullwing before I die. I’m determined.

What was the best part? Foot 1 or foot 15?

It’s just the most beautiful thing right? If I win the lottery, it’ll be the first car I’ll buy.

I’d be absolutely beside myself to be in the same room as it.

Even sitting in it was unbelievable. It has the same attention to detail as a Singer Porsche, but is 60 years older.

I wish the attention to detail remained the same. I think the R230 was a turning point for the SL class, and Mercedes as a whole. It’s not necessarily negative, considering the growth of the brand, but I think certain things have been forgotten.
That said, when I was at the NYIAS with Stevo777, Rico and Kyle, I think I finally was able to put my finger on the two things that would help improve Mercedes and the SL class moving ahead. Wedges and Monoblocks.

Think you could retrofit this dash into yours?

I don’t know if I would want to. I really don’t think it suits the personality of the car.
