Question: is that bondo or drywall joint compound? Either way, looks like a solid first pass.

My dad used to tell a story of a guy he knew when he was in his 20's that smashed up the 1/4 panel on his car and decided spackle was cheaper than bondo. Apparently this guy spent an entire afternoon applying it and lovingly sanding it into shape. Then he spray painted it to match.
Got in the car to drive over and show of his handiwork. When he hit the bump at the bottom of the driveway, his new 1/4 panel shattered and fell off into the street.

Yeah. I think so. All I really had eyes for was the ‘artwork’. Come to think of it, the other fender had a repair attempt on it as well. However, that side did not get bondo. That one got thatched tundra grass. I think these are equally effective and offensive.
