Handy website with a visualisation to show you exactly how a new set of wheels will size up to your originals, including variables for offset, wheel width and wheelwell clearance, with an absolute tonne of over-information for the stancenation wheel nerds.

Every time I buy a set of wheels, I research this information then overthink it until I have convinced myself that every set of aftermarket wheels will ruin my car. Usually 5-7 days later I buy whatever wheel is the closest to stock fitment lol.

That’s a good website. I tried to explain offset to someone yesterday, in a reply to my new wheels . A website like this would’ve helped a lot. I think my wheel/tire selection worked out.

protip: if you use spacers, lower the offset of the wheel by the thickness of the spacer.

I used willtheyfit.com for a majority of my research when ordering wheels for my car. Having a new model makes it very difficult to figure out what size/offset to go with.

Offset really confuses me sometimes, and I just happened across this while looking for wheels for a Skoda Felicia. If you actually take the measurements of your vehicle’s wheelwell/arch clearance etc. it’s almost the perfect wheel buying companion. The only thing it doesn’t allow for is inclusion of spacers which, while not necessary if you can do basic arithmetic, just adds to the scenario builder.
