That is a seriously nice car for the price. Surprising how much power that motor made back in the day!

I have one with 240k on the clock... it is almost run into the ground though, otherwise I would offer it for a small fraction of the price of the one you posted haha.

But you could have one for parts or just use it for back up when the other inevitably breaks.

If all the major work has been done for the second time, I wouldn't be too afraid. The age scares me more.

I know, right? And the torque makes the delivery very smooth, once you get above 2000rpm it just pulls.

Mine is 100k miles younger than yours, and apart from a starter motor that will need replacing soon it is still going strong.

True story: I know a gentleman with two Teslas (for when one is charging) and two E-Types (for when one is broken).

It’s only about 20k higher than mine.

I am impressed it has been so reliable with such high mileage

But at 140,000 miles that is pretty normal for most cars

Looks great, too expensive for those kinda miles though. These would go for half that here in the UK with 160k.

That’s not to say it’s too expensive here. Used car prices in the UK are always far cheaper than here in the states.
